STADIUM DESIGN IN PROGRESS

If you’ve found yourself here, you either accidentally clicked on the easter egg, or I sent you here to see how the design for the stadium is unfolding. It may not be in the plan yet, but I hope to move it into place when it gets sized correctly and we fill in the three different levels. Think of the second level as connecting to the walking bridge over Washington Street, from the Depot Train Yard. It will serve as an entrance to the stadium seats and also to the two corner gathering platforms that can have concessions and standing views of the field. Think of the third level as suites and a glass fronted lounge. Think of the first level as street front opportunities on Washington, Davie and Church Streets. If we keep the stadium seat risers on three sides only, the open side could be facing the water feature (river) and the Depot area.

The stadium would seat about 6,500 in the stands. There is a lot to still build out in drawings, but this video starts to paint out a very unique and purpose-driven event venue.
