Pedestrian Streets
Within the N&R site or on neighboring Sycamore Street, we have the opportunity to create gathering and activity that will support visitors to downtown Greensboro. Sycamore is only one block between Church Street and Lyndon Street. It could serve as a supporting cast player to the entertainment that will happen on our site. A drink before the game. Or a meal at an outdoor table on a festival lighted street, closed to any vehicles - safe for kids and adults gathering before or after the game.
Markets and foodhalls gather people around food & drink.

Thoughtful use of the "space between"
What a way to support development of a block of downtown! We have a single handful of owners who would all like to close the street and develop streetfront restaurants and bars to serve the future development of the N&R site.

Green space and calm
So many cities are taking streets and closing them off to vehicles in order to encourage walking, gathering and street dining. The image above is Barcelona.

Cleveland 4th Street
Cleveland took an area of downtown and gave it to the chefs. 4th Street has become the place to go for walkable food and drink. It is conveniently located by arenas, hotels and meeting places but closed of to cars.
